Roman Candle’s Skip Matheny is no stranger to a good cocktail. Before he and the band/family picked up and moved to Nashville, Skip spent some time as a bartender at a retirement community. With this in mind, Skip has just joined forces with American Songwriter Magazine for a new ‘Drinks With’ series, in which two songwriters sit down over a drink and talk about songwriting. Skip recently sat down with Wild Beasts at the Mercury Lounge in NYC for the first installment.
